For 65 years, MHT has been a beacon of hope and excellence for the East San Jose community of San Jose, CA.  We are proud to serve 226 Preschool thru 8th grade students as a part of the Diocese of San Jose and the Ignatian Elementary Schools Network of the Society of Jesus.

Founded in 1955 by the Sisters of Notre Dame,  we have continued their legacy of success in the formation of young men and women who live by the phrase, “There must be nothing little about us; we must have hearts of apostles” (Saint Julie Billiart, founder of the Sisters of Notre Dame).

Since our founding, we have implemented an authentic and rigorous Catholic formation.  Through this formation, we equip students not only with academic prowess, but also the skills necessary to challenge the status quo and “set the world on fire” (St. Ignatius of Loyola, SJ).
