Pope Francis’ prayer intention for the month of November is to support those who suffer from depression, invoking Jesus’ call to those suffering…
“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."
These days, almost all of us have seen the pain and suffering that comes with mental health issues, whether among family, friends, neighbors or colleagues. Perhaps you yourself have struggled during these challenging times. There are so many who are not able to get the help they desperately need. This is where Catholic Charities steps in and supports these indivduals. This holiday season, we are asking you to help Catholic Charities help those in need of counseling, services and support.
How can you help?
The Catholic Charities of Fairfield County Fund has identified the mental health services of Catholic Charities of Fairfield County as our charity of choice for this month,as we approach Giving Tuesday on November 30th. Please give generously so these services can continue to help us help those who cannot afford the critical services they need to stay healthy.
Thank you for helping to make this a holiday season filled with care, compassion and support for those in need.
