Serving the Shepherds Fund

There is no flock without its shepherds; we must strive to support the well-being of our priests. Your gift to the Serving the Shepherds Fund will help aid in the promotion of vocations, the formation of future priests, and the support and ongoing care for our active and retired clergy in the Diocese of Fall River.

Gifts to the Serving the Shepherds Fund will be used to: 

• Supporting the Cardinal Medeiros Residence, home to nearly 25 of our retired priests;
• Providing for health and wellness to retired priests and contributing to the clergy pension fund;
• Offering tuition, room, board, and medical insurance for our seminarians;
• Helping the Office for Vocations guide men as they discern their unique calling; and
• Funding the Clergy Support Office, which supports priests by offering diverse services and programming for all stages of the priesthood.
