On Thursday, May 29, 2025, the St. John the Baptist parish community in Maria Stein, OH experienced a tragic fire in their beloved and historic church.

We gather in support of this community and the whole Christ Our Light Family of Parishes under the leadership of Fr. Ken Schnipke, C.PP.S.

While evaluation of the church structure continues and options are still being weighed, we know that there will be considerable costs in the near future.
