Saint Luke School is looking to raise funds this Giving Tuesday (#GiveCatholicAOC) to move us closer to a 1:1 ratio of Chromebooks and students. These devices have become even more crucial to student learning since the pandemic began. Currently, we have about 100 students more than Chromebooks. (The first photo above was taken in 2019 prior to the pandemic.)
Students use Chromebooks to access their Google Drives, complete assignments in Classroom, design and create projects, communicate with teachers through GMail, take assessments, and research topics on the internet. Currently, each grade level shares a cart of Chromebooks. Therefore, each classroom is limited in their access to these devices.
Here is how your donations can help us in our goal:
$50= a Chromebook software license
$250= a Chromebook
$1300= a Chromebook charging cart capable of holding 25 Chromebooks
Your donations can be made anonymously if you wish. You may also send contributions directly to the school. We hope you will join us in our endeavor to provide our students access to the technology they need each day. All contributions will help us in meeting our goal.
