Archdiocese of the Military Special Collections

The National Collection for the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA (AMS), was first approved by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops in 2012 and is scheduled to be taken every three years on the Sunday near Independence Day. The date for the next scheduled collection for the AMS is Saturday and Sunday, July 5-6, 2025.

Parishes will take up a special collection for the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA (AMS), which provides pastoral care to Catholic men and women serving in the U.S. Armed Forces, enrolled at a U.S. Military Academy, being treated as a patient at any of the 153 U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Centers, or who work for the federal government beyond U.S. borders - including those from our own parish and diocese.
