BOY SCOUT TROOP 965 - SCOUTING AMERICA

Mission: Scouting America is one of the nation’s largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. Scouting builds character, trains responsible citizenship, and develops personal fitness. It’s a fun, outdoor-based program that teaches and reinforces the values of citizenship, service and duty to God. Scouting helps youth grow to become productive, engaged members of the community and develops young men who are comfortable and skilled in the outdoors. The troop has operated in this parish continuously for over 90 years. Boys aged 10 1/2 to 18 are encouraged to join.

Meetings: The Troop meets weekly at St. Juliana. Monthly outings, weekend camping trips, extended summer camping trips and day trips are scheduled.
