Description

These funds support the summer 2026 project which includes: complete repainting of the church interior, remodeling the church interior to remove unused fixtures, improving the efficiency of the lighting, and installing a crucifix (cross and corpus).  Financially, this project is an extension of the 2023 - 24 fundraising effort that paid for the replacement of the church roof (completed July 2024).  After paying for the roof replacement, that fund still had a balance of more than $40,000, already dedicated to the church interior improvements described above.  Contributions to the project have continued since 2024.  As of June 30, 2026, the parish had spent $5,000 on a deposit for the painting and remodeling project and $4,500 toward the cross project.  Completion of these projects in 2026 is expected to cost approximately $70,000.  As of June 30, 2026, the fund has a balance of $40,110.  If contributions to this project should exceed the costs of the church interior improvements, those excess funds will be applied to the Capital Campaign to reduce parish debt.
