This Lent, St. Paul of the Cross is partnering with Catholic Extension Society to support the ministry of Fr. Victor Ingalls in Mobile, Alabama. Fr. Victor is truly a one-man show, serving as pastor of six parishes across the region while also fulfilling his role as Director of Multicultural Affairs for the Archdiocese of Mobile. His pastoral reach spans urban and rural communities, each with deep histories of faith and a strong desire to remain vibrant and sustainable despite limited resources.

The parish communities Fr. Victor serves are deeply committed to doing their part. Parishioners regularly organize festivals, bazaars, and fish fries, generously offering their time and limited means to support their churches and strengthen community bonds. Yet the administrative and operational demands of serving six parishes cannot be met by fundraising alone. This Lenten season, our support is focused on providing essential administrative and salary assistance, allowing Fr. Victor to spend less time on paperwork and logistics and more time celebrating the sacraments, building relationships, and accompanying his parishioners. Administrative support also strengthens parish operations and supports long-term planning toward sustainability.
