Description

Conference will be held September 12 from 9:00am to 5:00pm. It will be hosted in a NEW location this year at Covenant Fellowship Church (606 FM 1791 N., Huntsville, TX).  

We will begin conference check in at 8:30am and will start with our welcome and first presenter at 9:00am. Sessions throughout the day will be hosted as follows:

• 9:15-10:00 – Opening Keynote from Vicki Spriggs, Texas CASA CEO
• 10:00-10:45 – Updates from the 2025 Legislative Session
• 11:00-12:00 – Panel Discussion with a Youth, Advocate, and Attorney from a recent CASA case
• 1:15-2:00 – Break-Out (Types of Therapy OR Adoption Process)
• 2:15-3:30 – Break-Out (Best Practices in Advocacy OR Trauma Tools)
• 4:00-5:00 – Closing Keynote from Karen Altom, owner of Postcards Magazine and Altom Group, former CASA Board President

*Attending all sessions will earn SIX of your annual in-service hours.

 We will have a lunch break at 12:00pm – lunch will be provided on site for all attendees.
