Saturday, March 21, 2026, 6:30-9 PM in Jubilee Hall at St. Ita church (5500 N. Broadway)

In lieu of a Lenten Retreat, we will be screening “Triumph of the Heart” a feature film about the final days of St. Maximilian Kolbe, a Polish priest and Franciscan friar, who volunteered to die in place of another prisoner in Auschwitz Concentration Camp during World War II.

The film will be shown in English with Spanish subtitles. The event will include a bilingual pre-screening introduction on the life of St. Maximilian Koble and post-film small group discussions offered in both languages. Light refreshments will be offered.
