NCS is raising funds through a Charity NUT Day on Friday, April 10th to benefit the children of our sister parish in La Victoria, Dominican Republic.  With the Sisters of Schoenstatt, Nativity Catholic Church founded The Nutrition Center in 1990 to serve the most at-risk young children, from birth to five years old, by providing food, clothing, education, and basic medical care. Its aim is to care for the youngest children of La Victoria, and to prevent malnutrition and other diseases of early childhood. Through the generous support of Nativity parishioners and school families as well as the volunteers of the nonprofit organization, Partners With La Victoria, the Sisters of Schoenstatt have been able to continue their mission of caring for and ensuring the health of the babies and children of La Victoria. Currently, the Center has over 140 kids enrolled. Nativity's Charity NUT Day will raise funds through Partners with La Victoria to assist the Nutrition Center buy food, clothing, teaching materials, and playground equipment.
