Prince of Peace School, a member of the Alliance for Catholic Urban Education consortium in the Diocese of Covington, is excited to start a Robotics/Engineering Club that would participate in First Lego Explore Team League and the First Lego League Challenge programs in the 2027-2028 school year. We are seeking to raise $10,000 in our campaign. This amount would fund 20 students for at least three years, to cover the costs of starter materials and accessories necessary to participate in league competitions, as well as entrance fees and other expenditures related to running the club.
We want to invest in our students and the First Lego programs are a fun, exciting, and creative way to teach and learn sportsmanship, teamwork, public speaking skills, along with science, math, and English concepts. Having the $10,000 fund would ensure our ability to plant strong roots for students who will turn into young men and women that believe in the extraordinary gift that faith, reason, and science contribute to the human experience.
