Description

Lent Is Better When We Don’t Walk Alone

Lent isn’t meant to be another item on an already full calendar.
It’s meant to give us our lives back.

In a short video we’re sharing this week, Fr. Tim Anastos reminds us that busy, noisy lives can quietly leave us spiritually tired or “half alive.” When we make space for prayer—even in small ways—Jesus renews us with peace, freedom, and hope.

This Lent, our parish is inviting parishioners to serve as Community Group Leaders.

This is not a teaching role.
You don’t need all the answers or a perfect prayer life.
You simply need to be willing to show up and create space for prayer.

Groups may be led individually or co-led, and can meet in person, virtually, or in a hybrid format—whatever best fits your life and availability.

Using Jesus, Make Me Fully Alive: 30 Holy Hour Reflections—a 2025 Excellence in Publishing Award winner—groups will engage in simple, meaningful prayer rooted in Eucharistic Adoration and real adult life.

We’ll provide the materials and support.
If you feel even a small nudge, we invite you to say yes.

Consider becoming a Community Group Leader this Lent—
because no one is meant to journey toward Easter alone.
