Description

These funds support the summer 2026 project which includes: complete repainting of the church interior, remodeling the church interior to remove unused fixtures, improving the efficiency of the lighting, and installing a crucifix (cross and corpus).  Financially, this project is an extension of the 2023 - 24 fundraising effort that paid for the replacement of the church roof (completed July 2024).  After paying for the roof replacement, that fund still had a balance of more than $40,000, already dedicated to the church interior improvements described above.  As of August 31, 2026, the parish had spent a total of $152,720 on all of the above projects and had collected $141,805 to fund them.  An additional $10,000 is expected to be spent to complete the projects.  If contributions to this project should exceed the costs of the church interior improvements, those excess funds will be applied to the Capital Campaign to reduce parish debt.
