For decades, St. Gertrude Church has been a torch in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Shaped by the Dominican charism, we are committed to offering beautiful liturgies, to forming parishioners young and old, to engaging in prayer, and to courageously bringing the light of Christ into the world. In other words, our mission is to help people encounter Jesus Christ.
This GivingTuesday, we invite you to get behind the mission of St. Gertrude Church by making a gift to support our GivingTuesday campaign, MORE FOR MISSION.
With a goal of $150,000, this exciting effort will allow us to shine our light more brightly in our parish and beyond by investing in, innovating, and inviting more people to experience our liturgies, child and youth offerings, and invigorating adult formation initiatives.
Invest: St. Gertrude Church has powerful formation opportunities, such as Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, L'alto: Confirmation, Revitalize, lecture series, adult Bible studies, and more. We want to put more resources toward these programs, as well as our liturgies.
Innovate: Living a Christian life in the current culture is challenging. We want to offer innovative programs that will help you navigate the troubled waters. These initiatives are not in the budget, so we need funding to develop these new programs.
Invite: Our parish includes not only current parishioners but also all people who live within our boundaries—and that's a large area. We need to carry our torch beyond our campus through better outreach in the community and the archdiocese. This involves publicizing our events more broadly and offering the local community access to events.
