To all those who knew Alyce Bourjaily, from her girlfriends… Alyce was passionate, vivacious, courageous and fiercely independent. In her small body, she was larger than life. Her energy, colorful stories and straight to the point authenticity were just some of the qualities that made everyone want to be her friend. Her sudden death last year left us with such a void in our hearts, we wanted to find a way to keep Alyce’s spirit alive. St. Vincent Ferrer School, grammar school home to Alyce and her five siblings, is proud to announce the Alyce Bourjaily Angel Fund. With your support, the Angel Fund will help students with non-tuition related expenses for things such as uniforms, technology fees, band lessons, sports fees, school supplies, field trips, lunches, etc. Each year, a portion of the fund will be withdrawn and gifted to a special student(s). We hope the fund lasts for many, many years to come and that Alyce’s spirit will be felt in the halls of St.Vincent’s. The fund will be managed by long-time friend of the family, Ray Kalwajtys and administered by St. Vincent School.
