The ministry at Catholic Bearcat has experienced tremendous growth at the University of Cincinnati over the past seven years. This growth is the fruit of a unified mission shared by our priests, staff, and community. It has been significantly supported by the presence of missionaries from both FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students) and SPO (Saint Paul’s Outreach).

As we look to the coming school year, there are two key ways we hope to maintain and expand this momentum:

1. SPO Missionaries - We are incredibly blessed to have a team of 6 SPO missionaries on campus. Until now, we've received their services at a deeply discounted rate. We have renegotiated our contract and, while still receiving a reduced rate, are moving toward a more just and sustainable partnership. The cost to support the SPO team for the next two years is $100,000—essentially a “buy one, get one free” rate, as their standard cost is $100,000 per year.
    
2. FOCUS Missionaries - We currently have 4 FOCUS missionaries and will be adding a fifth for the coming academic year. The additional cost to support this new missionary for two years is $20,000.
