We invite all Parish Respect Life Coordinators, Care Ministers, Deacons, and Priests throughout the Archdiocese of Chicago to join us for a special Respect Life Ministry Workshop focused on the Dignity of Life at its final stages and the growing challenges surrounding end-of-life care.

As Illinois prepares for the implementation of the recently passed Physician-Assisted Suicide law this September, this workshop will offer an important opportunity for formation and prayer. We are honored to welcome a speaker from the National Catholic Bioethics Center, who will guide us in understanding the Church’s teaching and pastoral response to Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide, while helping us discern how best to accompany individuals and families facing these difficult times.

The day will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a light breakfast and fellowship. Bishop Mark Bartosic will then lead us in prayer, reflection, and a special commissioning and blessing of our Parish Respect Life Coordinators as we prepare for Respect Life Month and continue our shared mission of building a Culture of Life throughout the Archdiocese of Chicago and Beyond.
