This year, the Diocese of Austin has assigned NotreDame de Lourdes in Solon, Haiti - led by Rev. Père Pierre Wilkens LAMPY, Curé - as our annual Missionary appeal group. This church is the home parish of St. Louis Parishioner Antenor Cyril who is speaking this weekend on Rev. Wilkens' behalf. 

NotreDame de Lourdes has been struggling since the earthquake that struck Haiti on August 14, 2021. During the earthquake, the church was damaged, and although repairs were started, they weren’t able to be completed. The parish ministers to 4 chapels and 2 schools which are also still suffering from destruction. Donated funds would help with:

• Providing salaries for teachers

• Strengthening parish/ pastoral activities

• Operating a school canteen to help feed students
