Donations will support the work of the Archdiocese of Chicago's Local Immigration Ministry in parishes in Cook and Lake Counties of Illinois. The Archdiocesan Immigration Ministry answers the Gospel call to welcome the stranger. Through our Pastoral Migratoria/ Polish Immigrant-to-Immigrant Ministry, we accompany Spanish and Polish speaking men, women and children who are immigrants, refugees and those seeking asylum. We help form immigrants to be ministers of service, accompaniment and justice in their parish communities. Rooted in their common faith identity, the immigrant community mutually empower one another to share their God-given gifts.
