Maternity BVM School

Description

We are working with many alumni, family and friends to provide students with a library. We have collected a large amount of books, and we have a architect who is the child of alumni from the 1950's who has offered to volunteer her time. She will work with students from 6th, 7th and 8th grade classes and teach them about an architects work while incorporating their subjects into everyday life. Math will be used for the figuring out specific dimensions and space details. English will be used when writing about their design project and why they have chosen to create a library that looks a certain way. They will also be creating pieces of art work in the designs they have created.
