Join us for an afternoon of prayer, reflection, and renewal with Fr. Tim Anastos.

In a world constantly competing for our attention, how do we stay rooted in Jesus and truly live as the people He created us to be?

We are excited to welcome Fr. Tim Anastos, director and chaplain of the St. John Paul II Newman Center at UIC and author of Jesus, Make Me Fully Alive. Throughout the afternoon, Fr. Tim will lead us in reflecting on prayer, our relationship with Jesus, and what it means to live fully alive in Christ.

Together, we’ll explore how our faith speaks into the realities we face every day - from social media and comparison to AI and technology, distraction, relationships, identity, and the pressures of modern culture. How are these things shaping the way we think, pray, relate to others, and understand ourselves? And how can we use them without allowing them to use us?

This retreat is an opportunity to step away from the noise, encounter Jesus, and make space for Him to transform the way we live in the world.

The afternoon will include talks from Fr. Tim, small group discussion, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, the opportunity for Confession, and Vigil Mass.

Cost: $20 in advance | $30 for walk-ins at the door
