Description

Willkommen! Everyone is invited to celebrate our parish's German heritage at the best Oktoberfest party in the city – which this year has a special new addition: a Munich-styled Beer Hall (located in Festival Hall beneath the church) where fest-goers can sit to enjoy their brats, beer and pretzels.

This specially curated Beer Flight encompasses the wonderful flavor of beers from Germany. Each flight will contain four 4-oz servings of authentic brews from Munich, and also comes with a commemorative Oktoberfest mini beer mug.

The Beer Flight is only available in Festival Hall and only during its hours of operation: Friday, September 26 from 6-9 PM, and Saturday, September 27 from 3-9 PM.

1.) Helles Lager by Weihenstephaner --

Its noble flavoring derives from the aroma hops Saphir and Select, varieties produced in the Hallertau region of Bavaria. Soft on the palate, a fresh effervescence – the Weihenstephaner Helles Lager is a harmonious, well-rounded, perfect delight... the perfect beer for any drinking occasion. Crisp taste with mild hoppy notes, finishing clean like a true lager should. 5.0% ABV..

2.) Pils by Paulaner --

Paulaner has brought back a classic German pilsner, that delivers a clean crisp taste. Their Bavarian brewers are particularly experienced in crafting classic Pilsner biers. 4.9% ABV.

3.) Oktoberfest Märzen by Hacker Pschorr --

Märzen beers were traditionally brewed in March, but not served until Oktoberfest. This age-old recipe produces a beer amber in color with a perfect balance of hops and smoothness. 5.8% ABV.

4.) Dunkle Hefeweiss by Weihenstephaner --

This dark wheat beer is for those who truly savor beer. Effervescent and full-bodied, a pleasantly light caramel note is perceptible in the flavor and imparts a velvety mouthfeel. The color can be described as chestnut. 5.3% ABV.
