At The Well of Mercy, our mission is guided by faith and service. As we are reminded in Matthew 25:35–40, “For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me… Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
With that mission at the center of everything we do, we want to share an important update with our community. After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our gala originally scheduled for February 13th because our attendance targets were not achieved.
While this event will not take place as planned, our commitment to serving women and their children remains strong. The success of our events relies on community support through attendance, sponsorships, donations, and volunteer involvement, and for these we are extremely grateful. We will utilize all of these gifts and resources to be leveraged for another upcoming event, which will be announced in the coming weeks.
We are currently serving 30 lives in The Well of Mercy home, and the demand for support is growing. Your generosity continues to make a direct impact in the lives of these women and children.
We are deeply grateful for the prayers, time, resources, and generosity already given. Thank you for standing with us, and we welcome your ongoing support of The Well of Mercy this year as we continue this lifechanging work together.
