Haiti is in crisis — nearly half the population lives in poverty, and thousands of children face hunger and limited access to education.

In the rural community of L’Estè, our sister parish, Legliz Mari-Rèn, is spreading hope. Through a partnership with parishioners at St. Francis de Sales, they operate two schools serving nearly 500 students from Pre-K through 6th grade. This partnership helps fund:

• Teacher salaries — modest wages (less than $100 per month) that empower dedicated teachers to shape young minds and support their families.
• A school feeding program — providing each student with a hot, nutritious meal every day, often their only full meal.
