The Lenten Almsgiving Project of 2024 is to work with RIse Against Hunger to provide 10,152 meals to the hungirest in the world. Rise against hunger will bring the base materials to our Parish on April 21st, and all those interested in participating can help pack meals. Rise Against Hunger combines an assembly line process with an educational experience to not only make a huge impact worldwide, but to touch the lives of those who participate.

A large percentage of Rise Against Hunger meals are distributed to children through school feeding programs, which encourage attendance and ensure children are not hungry during school.

Any funds in excess of the $4,000 needed for the meals will be donated to Damien's House in Ecuador, a organization run for Hansen’s patients which has brought the opportunity to restore more lives to fullness.
