Here at Saint Augustine~Saint Francis Xavier we have a tradition of beautiful sacred music.
Throughout the pandemic we have kept the inspiration of music in our liturgies. Now we need
your help more than ever to keep this tradition alive.
Our own dedicated, talented volunteers have always been the heart of our choir. In support,
we have a small number of professional vocalists. These singers anchor and guide the
ensemble, and we would be unable to sustain the high quality of our musical offerings without
them.
Rising parish expenses in other important areas have limited our resources. To help ensure the
future of sacred music at St. Augustine St. Francis Xavier, we have created The Clare Cecilia
Society. Named in memory of long-time choir member Sister Clare Rapp, and for Saint Cecilia,
Patroness of Music, the Society offers parishioners opportunities to give the gift of music.

Donors ($250 and above) sponsor music for a Sunday in Ordinary Time for an intention or
memorial
Patrons ($500 and above) sponsor music for Advent, Lent and Holy Week Liturgies
Benefactors ($1000 and above) sponsor music for Midnight Mass, Christmas Day, Easter Vigil
and Easter Sunday
