Hi I'm Christina Buschur!

Growing up, I went through a lot of toxic friendships and relationships that left me feeling hurt, used, and lost. For a long time, I was angry at God and wondered why I had to go through so much. By my junior and senior year of high school, everything I had been holding in became overwhelming, and I felt like giving up.

One night during my senior year, I reached out to my mom and sister. They met me with love, not judgment, and reminded me I wasn’t alone. God used them to help me see that my life still had purpose, even when I couldn’t see it myself.

Looking back, I’m so thankful for how God has worked through my pain. Today, I get to encourage high school girls who feel hopeless or forgotten and remind them that they are loved, valued, and never alone. If my story helps even one girl find hope, then it’s all been worth it.

Why I’m here-
I just finished my first year as a full-time missionary volunteer. I’m going into my second year and I will be part of the You're Amazing Mission Team. We go around the US putting on events and retreats for youth encouraging them sharing your stories doing a lot of different games, activities and being very real!

Being here has open my eyes to so many great blessings from the Lord and how much I needed to grow in myself! Im so blessed to do what I do and get the opportunity to teach kids about Jesus, love them, and watch God work in their lives. It isn’t always easy, but God continues to remind me why He called me here.
