What is NCYC and who is it for?
NCYC stands for National Catholic Youth Conference. NCYC is for all high school students in grades 9 - 12 during the 2023-2024 school year, at any high school! All students registering must be in good standing in conduct and academically. The conference entails concert performances from some of the biggest Catholic musicians in the country, speakers, workshops about relatable topics, and time in prayer and with friends.
When & Where
NCYC takes place November 16-19, 2023 in Indianapolis, IN. We leave early on Thursday, November 16 and arrive in Indianapolis by Thursday afternoon. From there, we collect our credentials for the conference and the fun begins! The conference ends late in the evening of Saturday, November 18, so we stay in Indianapolis that evening and head back the morning of Sunday, November 19. We arrive home that afternoon and will let you know more exact times when we have them.
In addition to this, you can expect two preparations meetings in the fall, and a reception in December to celebrate the conference. All are mandatory parts of participating.
Why should you go?
Here are just three quotes from teens whose lives were impacted by the conference. The short answer is you should come because you’ll encounter Jesus and experience real joy. This conference is an opportunity to make friends, deepen relationships, and remember or re-remember God’s purpose and calling in your life.
Cost
The cost of the conference, as with everything else, has risen a bit from two years ago. There are two separate payments, and the total will be likely be between $700-725. The payments are split as such:
